What an exciting time to be part of the Maroondah Singers. With our recent & well-received Annual Concert the choir now has acquired many new songs to add to our extensive and varied repertoire. We are going into several concerts over the next few months with a selection of songs from this and last year’s Annual Concerts and with a few other favourites in the mix. Numbers such as Wonderful World, Blame it on the Bossa Nova, Halleluiah, Homeward Bound, If I didn’t have You, Java Jive & Feeling Good.  These are songs which we have settled into, are comfortable with and love to sing.

We are looking forward to performing in the great outdoors (first at the Whitehorse Spring Festival on October 16th and then the Relay for Life on November 12) for the first time in many years.

We are also thrilled to hear that we were successful in our application for funding for new music from the Nunawading Arts Council. Keep up the good work choir, revive those memories of songs from past years and consolidate those recently learned. Let’s enjoy our singing over the last few months of this year. We have all that Christmas music to look forward to as well.
